…Dehinwa claims injustice thrives in the camp of the APC
…He promise to work hard for his newly adopted party
Engineer Segun Dehinwa, former Coordinator of Governor Amosun campaign organisation in Ikenne LGA and key members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Dehinwa joined the PDP Saturday morning in Ikenne in the presence of the Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial district at the National Assembly, Senator Buruji Kashamu along with about 200 of his supporters.
He was received into the PDP fold by the PDP chairman in Ogun State, Engineer Bayo Dayo, Ogun PDP Chieftain, Prince Segun Seriki, Southwest PDP Secretary, Chief Pegba Otemolu ,state publicity secretary, Hon. Koye Ijaduoye and Ikenne local government executives of the party.
Engineer Dehinwa said he quit the APC because of alleged injustice, dictatorial tendencies and failure of Governor ibikunle Amosun to carry everybody along in party and governmental affairs.

He expressed regrets that key APC leaders in all parts of the state are leaving the party in droves over Amosun’s selfish leadership style which, according to him, has rendered the party unpopular in Ogun State.
According to him, he was attracted to the PDP because of the quality of leadership and sincerity exhibited by Senator Buruji Kashamu in running the affairs of PDP in Ogun State and the Southwest zone.
The ex- Ikenne local government Coordinator of Amosun campaign organisation promised to work hard for the PDP in Ikenne LGA in future elections describing his new party’s chances as “very bright”.
Speaking on the occasion, Senator Kashamu described Engineer Dehinde as a grassroot mobilizer who will be an asset to his new party and also assured other defectors that the PDP will accord them the same privilege with old members describing Engineer Dehinde as a “big giant, a mobilizer who has a lot of electoral value.”
