The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) expressed deep sorrow and devastation over the sudden death of its Ondo State Chapter Chairman, Fatai Adams, on Wednesday.
PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, hailed Adams as a dedicated party member, describing him as a seasoned administrator who devoted his intellect, competence, skills, energy, and personal resources to strengthen the PDP in Ondo State despite challenges.
In a statement, Ologunagba said, “Indeed, our hearts bleed! Our Party, the nation, and indeed humanity have lost one of our brightest and best in Nigeria’s contemporary political leadership.”

Adams was praised as a humble, insightful, and sociable leader who championed truth, justice, equity, and fairness.
He played pivotal roles in uniting, stabilizing, developing, and advancing the PDP both at the state and national levels.
“As a political mobilizer, a member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Vice Chairman, and later Chairman of our Party in Ondo State, Hon. Adams excelled in all the assignments given to him by the Party, distinguished himself as a patriot and a selfless leader whose only focus was the good of the people,” the statement read.
The PDP extended its condolences to Adams’ family, the PDP family in Ondo State, and the entire Akoko people, describing his death as a significant loss.
