The factions embroiled in the crisis within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ezza South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State have agreed to collaborate for the party’s benefit.
The conflict, primarily between factions loyal to Senator Kenneth Eze of Ebonyi Central Zone and Mrs. Euphemia Nwali, the local government chairperson, had caused a rift over control of the ruling party in Ezza South.
Amidst the ongoing supremacy battle, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, the state Chairman of the party, convened an emergency peace meeting on Thursday at the Party’s state secretariat in Abakaliki, the state capital, with all warring groups and their sponsors in attendance.

Following a five-hour closed-door meeting, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha addressed the press, stating that he intervened as a father of the party to resolve the crisis.
He expressed that no father would be pleased to see turmoil within his home and described the meeting as a family discussion to correct mistakes and reconcile differences.
Senator Kenneth Eze acknowledged the need for peace, commending the party Chairman for his intervention and wisdom in resolving the crisis.
He emphasized that the meeting was akin to a family gathering, with Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha acting as their father and leader, guiding them to amicable resolutions.
