Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the last election, has filed an appeal with the Supreme Court, citing 51 different reasons for doing so.
The ex-governor of Anambra State stated his displeasure with the verdict Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, which had previously dismissed the state’s complaint.
The Tribunal was approached by Obi, who wanted to be proclaimed the winner of the February 25 Presidential Election.
INEC announced that Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), has won the election.
However, PDP members Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar are contesting INEC’s declaration in court.
After the tribunal affirmed Tinubu’s victory, both Obi and Atiku vowed to appeal to the Supreme Court in an effort to overturn the decision.
Yet, Peter Obi has taken his case to the highest court and submitted his paperwork.
