John Dafaan has been congratulated by the Plateau branch of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on his victory at the Court of Appeal as the member-elect for the Shendam/Qua’an-Pan/Mikang Federal Constituency. Dafaan won the election to represent the Shendam/Qua’an-Pan/Mikang Federal Constituency.
On Friday, the Court of Appeal in Abuja ruled Dafaan the victor, which meant that the election of Representative Isaac Kwallu of the PDP was invalidated.
In a statement that was released on Tuesday in Jos by the APC’s Publicity Secretary, Mr. Sylvanus Namang, the party referred to Dafaan’s victory as being richly merited.

Namang stated that the APC had faith in Dafaan, who had previously served as the Chief of Staff to the outgoing Governor Simon Lalong, to provide his constituents with quality representation.
He praised the decision of the appeals court and hailed it as a significant victory for their side.
“This fair, firm, and unanimous decision of the court has, in fact, portrayed the judiciary as a revered temple of justice,” the judge said.
“Its stance is a shrewd move toward protecting and preserving the integrity and independence of the judiciary, and it is a move that has been well received.”
“This is in spite of nefarious attempts from certain quarters to put the judiciary on an unnecessary social media trial through a number of ill-motivated smear campaigns,” the author writes. “This is the case despite the fact that social media has been used in a number of these.”
“The verdict is without precedent, logical, and historically significant in every respect.
“To say the least, the judgment is a page-turning development in the annals of our jurisprudence, as the judges have stood very strong and tall in their decisions, regardless of all the innuendos and blackmails,” he emphasized. “The judges have stood very strong and tall in their decisions, regardless of all the innuendos and blackmails.”
