Men of the Kano State Police Command have arrested six suspects in connection with the stabbing of two pupils of Fagge Special Primary school in the capital on Wednesday.
The Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Magaji Majiya made this known in Kano on Monday while briefing newsmen on the State Command’s activities.
According to him, the suspects were apprehended last week following a tip-off. He said that they were now assisting the police in its investigation.
Majiya also disclosed that the police had arrested a staff of the state Fire Service for allegedly conniving with a colleague to kidnap and r*pe an eight-year-old girl.
‘’The suspects later called her parents to demand for N1 million ransom before she could be released.
‘’The girl has since been treated at the hospital and reunited with her parents while effort was still being made to track down the fleeing suspect,’’ Majiya said.
According to him, the suspects will be charged to court once investigation is completed.
