In a swift and successful operation, the Kaduna State Police Command reported the rescue of a kidnapped housewife in the early hours of Sunday.
According to ASP Mansur Hassan, the command’s Public Relations Officer, the rescue mission unfolded when the operatives received a distress call around 0100hrs on Sunday.
The call reported an invasion by an unidentified group of armed men at a residence in the Dogarawa area of Sabon Gari, Zaria LGA.

Hassan stated, ”The kidnappers kidnapped a housewife aged 37, at the residence. On receiving the call, our team of patrol rushed to the scene and pursued the criminals.
Due to our firepower superiority, they abandoned the kidnapped victim, which led to her rescue.”
The housewife, aged 37, was successfully reunited with her family unharmed.
The police spokesperson affirmed that investigations were underway, and efforts were being intensified to apprehend the fleeing suspects, ensuring they face the full consequences of the law.
Hassan urged the public to provide timely and useful information to aid proactive measures in addressing security challenges.
