President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after a two-week private visit to France.
His jet touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Tuesday night.
Tinubu was received by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

The return comes amidst criticism from opposition parties, who had accused the president of abandoning the country amid the security and economic crisis ravaging the nation.
Some opposition leaders expressed the view that the president had no reason to embark on a private visit at a time when the country is facing significant challenges.
