President Bola Tinubu has emphasized the need to ensure that schools are safe and secure for learning in reaction to the release of students abducted from the Kuriga area of Kaduna State.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu welcomed the news of the students’ release and highlighted the importance of collaboration between the federal government and states, especially regarding security matters.
“The President commended the National Security Adviser, the Security Agencies, and the Kaduna State Government for the dispatch and diligence with which they handled this situation,” the statement read.

President Tinubu stressed the importance of urgency, attention to detail, and dedication in addressing cases of mass abductions to achieve optimal outcomes.
He also welcomed the release of pupils from a Tsangaya school in Sokoto State, commending all parties involved for their efforts.
President Tinubu assured Nigerians that his administration was implementing comprehensive strategies to ensure that schools remained safe havens for learning and not targets for abductions.
