President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with former Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa (retd), at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Musa, who retired on October 24, 2025, arrived at the Presidential Villa on Monday evening and was escorted into the President’s office area by a senior security official.

This is his first public engagement with President Tinubu since his retirement, sources at the Villa confirmed.
As of the time of filing this report, the agenda and purpose of the meeting had not been officially disclosed.
The visit comes amid heightened security challenges in the North, including the recent abduction of schoolgirls in Kebbi State, an attack on worshippers in Eruku, Kwara State, and the kidnapping of Catholic schoolchildren in Minna, Niger State.
Neither the Presidency nor Musa has issued a statement regarding the meeting at this time.
