    In line with our commitment to update the media on various  developments relating to the Anti-terrorism campaign of the  Federal Government, we once more wish to let you know of new developments in that direction.

     

     

     

    1. CHIBOK

    International operations have commenced, in collaboration  with the Nigerian Military. However, the nature of the  operations do not permit us to give details now, but a full brief  will be made available soon.

     

    2. ARREST OF TERROR FUGITIVE –AMINU SADIQ  OGWUCHE

    The centre wishes to authoritatively confirm the interception  and subsequent arrest of the terror fugitive, Aminu Sadiq  Ogwuche in Sudan.  Mr. Ogwuche had earlier been declared  wanted by the security authorities in Nigeria for involvement in  the recent bomb blast incident at Nyanya in Abuja and  following which the National Bureau of INTERPOL in Abuja issued a red notice for his search and arrest.

    Presently, the security authorities are working to facilitate his  extradition and he is expected in Nigeria anytime the  processes are completed.
