Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has made a prediction that Nigeria will break up in 2035 if the country fails to undergo restructuring under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu.
In a statement to journalists in Lagos on Friday, Primate Ayodele stated that the break up would occur naturally as citizens become increasingly dissatisfied with the status quo.
He clarified that Biafra activist Nnamdi Kanu and Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Igboho would not play direct roles in the country’s breakup.

“We must be very watchful because Nigeria will break up in 2035, only God will stop it.
If this government fails to restructure Nigeria, the country will break up,” said Primate Ayodele.
He emphasized that the breakup would not be instigated by specific agitators but would instead stem from a general weariness among the people, leading to a demand for a referendum to determine the country’s future.
Primate Ayodele’s prediction adds to the ongoing discourse about Nigeria’s future and the calls for restructuring to address various challenges facing the country.
