Lawyers for Prince Harry have come out to demand a judicial review against a refusal of the UK’s Home Office to pay for his police protection when in the UK. They recently had their say via a statement, and the world has been reacting.
According to them, Prince Harry’s private security team does not have adequate jurisdiction abroad and his status as a prince means he’ll always be a security risk and a target of hate crimes.
They added that his family has also been subjected to well-documented neo-Nazi and extremist threats in recent times, so he must be kept safe.
It read, “Prince Harry inherited a security risk at birth, for life.”
“He remains sixth in line to the throne, served two tours of combat duty in Afghanistan, and in recent years his family has been subjected to well-documented neo-Nazi and extremist threats.”
“The UK will always be Prince Harry’s home and a country he wants his wife and children to be safe in. With the lack of police protection, comes too great a personal risk.”
