FREMONT, CA–(Marketwired – Feb 17, 2014) – Procera Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: PKT), the global Internet Intelligence company, today announced the launch of new Internet Intelligence Insights solutions designed for visualizing Internet Intelligence for different audiences inside network operators. Insights is the first product line in the Internet Intelligence Center product family, and is designed to provide unique perspectives for the different audiences within a network operator including executive, marketing, engineering, and customer service teams. Traditionally, engineering and network planning had access to this data, but it has great value to other departments who are increasingly clamoring for access.
“Insights dramatically simplifies the visualization of critical KPIs for network operators,” said Joakim Andersson, Vice President of Product Management at Procera Networks. “Procera’s perspective-based approach to visualization highlights the information that is most critical to these audiences in a visually compelling interface.”
“A growing number of operators recognize the value of combining historic data with real-time data,” said Shira Levine, Directing Analyst, Service Enablement and Subscriber Intelligence at Infonetics. “Operators that understand their subscribers can deliver better service offerings that maximize their profitability.”
Insights is a web-based visualization platform that leverages the rich analytics and intelligence data provided by Procera’s solutions. Each key role in the network operator will be presented with their own unique perspective of network activity based upon the key performance indicators (KPIs) that help them run their part of the business. Some examples of KPIs that can be included in the different perspectives offered by Procera’s Insights solutions include:
- Executives: High level network activity and trends
- Marketing: Subscriber service plan and device perspectives detailing subscriber trends and usage patterns that may result in new service opportunities
- Engineering: Location and peering perspectives to manage hotspots and identify potential CAPEX spends
- Customer Care: Real-time subscriber troubleshooting as well as historical subscriber usage
Insights is available immediately for purchase. Procera will be demonstrating Insights and NFV solutions at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 24-27th at stand #5J30.
