Paris Saint-Germain coach, Thomas Tuchel has come out to say that his club’s UCL prospects are now different but not impossible.
He recently came out to lament the departure of Thomas Meunier and Edinson Cavani.
According to him, every player is crucial to the group with the right mentality to win, and losing vital footballers has definitely affected the quality in the squad.
He, however, added that doing well in the UCL is not impossible because the team is still strong and he currently has players who are determined to win it.
His words, “All the players are important to create a group and a mentality and to lose these three [Cavani, Silva and Meunier] decreases the group,”
“We have always played with these players and therefore we lose quality with their departures, that’s for sure.
“After that it will not be impossible and I am convinced that we will be very strong. We have to prepare this team for the two finals with a very good mentality.
“We played an extraordinary Champions League with everyone. It is different but not impossible.”
