The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Kaduna State has implored the Muslim Ummah to take advantage of the Ramadan to pray for elected leaders so that God can prosper the nation and give it direction.
The CAN Secretary, Reverend Sunday Ibrahim, who made the call in an interview with newsmen in Kaduna, also advised Muslim faithful to maintain peace as the fasting progresses, saying without peace, there can be no meaningful development.
He also appealed to Christians to maintain the peace and pray for their Muslim counterparts.
While he wished Muslims a fruitful fast, the CAN scribe prayed that God answers all their prayers and supplications.
