England legend, Michael Owen has come out to say that he is convinced that Trent Alexander-Arnold will leave Liverpool to join Real Madrid. He recently had his say via his social media page, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, secretive talks will have taken place between Madrid and the player by now, and it will only be a matter of time before the deal is finalized.
Owen added that the Spanish club is only making intentions clear because they know Trent won’t sign a contract extension at Liverpool.
His words, “The very fact that Real Madrid have now made their intentions clear towards signing Trent Alexander Arnold leads me to believe that it’s only a matter of time before he signs for them. If he was going to sign a contract extension, Madrid wouldn’t have officially made their move. Secretive talks will have taken place. Huge news.”
