Everton manager, Rafa Benitez has come out to say that Richarlison knows he needs to repay the club for allowing him to partake in the Olympics. He recently revealed that the player has to give something back because Everton has supported him very well.

According to him, Richarlison had the Olympic Games in mind for a long time so the club had to back his decision to be involved.
Benitez added that he knows the striker will give everything to deliver for his club next season.
His words, “I was in contact with him, he had the Olympic Games in the back of his head, we needed to sort out his situation and he is fine,”
“He is happy because he can go there… and he knows he has to give us something back because we were supporting him.”
“That [not being involved at the start of the season] could be something we can consider not great in the beginning but will be a massive boost for us in the rest of the season because he will try to deliver.”
