Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Rodri has been ruled out of the club’s Premier League trip to Burnley. He recently revealed that the midfielder will miss the game due to a groin injury, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he cannot say for sure if Rodri will be unavailable for the FA Cup semi-final against Southampton, but the Spaniard will not be ready for Burnley.

Pep added that Nico Gonzalez has proven himself to be a capable replacement in Rodrigo’s absence.
His words, “I think for tomorrow he will not be ready. We’ll see for next games the FA Cup semi-final against Southampton or 12 days later for the Premier League game at Everton.
Nico Gonzalez helped us a lot in the absence of Rodri to be where we are now.”
