Manchester United legend, Roy Keane has come out to insist that Cristiano Ronaldo is still the best finisher in the world. This is coming after the Portugal star hit 900 career goals, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even if Ronaldo‘s lack of impact at Euro 2024 was an issue for most football fans, reaching 900 goals at his age is proof that he is still the best finisher in the world.
Keane added that putting the ball in good areas for the Portuguese striker will still resort to goals.
His words, “That was a bit of an issue. [Referring to his lack of impact at Euro 2024]. But (he’s reached) 900 goals. If you put the ball in those areas he’s still the best in the world.”
WOW.
