The security presence in INEC’s office in Rivers State has just been increased.
The commission’s building at Aba Road is also currently filled with armed security enforcers in the state.
The present situation is caused by a wicked traffic jam that is now making it difficult for road users, especially danfo drivers to move freely.
This hold up has also caused an increase in transport fare for the people of the state.
A quick distance that would normally cost 50 naira now cost 100 naira or 150 bucks, as several road users now prefer to trek than pay such outrageous fares.
