Ex-Nigeria midfielder, Christian Obodo has come out to list reasons why Victor Osimhen should stay at Napoli ahead of the new season. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he has been aware of Osimhen’s potential even before he joined Napoli, and he believes the Italian club is still the ideal place for him.
Obodo added that Spalletti’s work at Napolitano is also very relevant to Osimhen’s growth as a striker.
His words, “I’ve been aware of Osimhen’s potential even before he joined Napoli.”
“I think Napoli is the ideal place for a player like Victor in addition to the adequacy of the coach.”
“[Luciano] Spalletti’s work is relevant to his growth and that has allowed him to grow a lot both at Napoli and with the national team,” Obodo continued adding: “I have no doubt about the impact that the former Lille striker would have on Napoli.”
