Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has come out to back his winger, Raheem Sterling. He recently revealed that despite the Englishman’s woes in front of goal this season, he remains very vital to his team.
According to him, Sterling has been an incredibly important player for City, and everything the club has done in the past wouldn’t have been possible without him.
He added that Raheem will still score goals this season, and he is more than happy to have him at the club
His words, “He’s an incredibly important player for us,”
“Everything we have done in the past without him would not have been possible.
“He will score goals, he will make assists and he will help in all departments like wingers normally aren’t able to do.
“I am more than happy and delighted to have him here with us.”
