Muhammadu BuhariMinister of Education, Adamu Adamu has come out to say that Nigerian schools will not resume anytime soon.

Adamu recently revealed that reopening of our educational institutions cannot happen until it is very safe to do so.

According to him, as opposed to earlier reports, final year students preparing for the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) will not be allowed to return to school anytime soon because the pandemic is still very much serious.

He added that he would prefer for students to lose an academic year than for them to be exposed to health dangers.
