Super Falcons head coach Justine Madugu has hailed his players for doing everything possible to secure the victory vs the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco. Recall that Nigeria claimed a remarkable 3-2 victory over the hosts in the final of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
According to him, his players would’ve given up if they weren’t resilient mentally, so all credit to them for constantly believing mission X was still possible.

Madugu added that the victory was a deserved one, and a 10th WAFCON title was earned against all odds.
His words, “If they didn’t have mental resilience, they would have given up.
But they kept believing and they earned this victory.”
WOW.
