The SURE-P Chairman charges those supporting Bash Ali to continue to do so because he is a role model to the youths.
Earlier, Bash Ali had said that he came to seek for partnership to enable the boxing event take place in Nigeria. He said that if the sum of One Million dollars is not paid by the end of this month, the right to have the fight take place in Nigeria will be withdrawn.
Ali said that he has been offered eleven Million dollars to fight in Germany, but he rejected it. “It is my contribution to President’s Transformation Agenda; I want to be the oldest boxer in the world to win world title.
“I want this fight in Nigeria; this is the first time Government is putting money in sport and getting it back”; he stated.
The 58-year-old boxer said that this is going to be the biggest boxing event in Africa since 1974 and will be watched in 132 countries.
