Chelsea midfielder, Jorginho has come out to say that he sees no reason why he can’t win the Ballon d’Or this year. He recently revealed that the fact remains that no one has won more trophies than him.
According to him, he definitely dreams to be a Ballon d’Or winner someday but he knows it’ll depend on the criteria that the final decision is based on.
Jorginho added that talent-wise, he knows he is not the best player in the world, but he has definitely had a successful year with trophies.
His words, “We all have dreams.”
“But, I’ll be honest, it depends on the criteria that the decision is based on.”
“If we’re talking about talent then I know I’m not the best in the world. But if it’s going on titles, then nobody has won more than I have this season.”
“How could I compare myself to [Lionel] Messi, Neymar or Cristiano Ronaldo? They’ve got completely different characteristics to me. But, I repeat, it depends on the criteria.”
