Former Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, expressed concern over the increasing economic hardship in Nigeria during a meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Tambuwal highlighted the worsening situation and emphasized the urgent need to address the challenges facing the country.
In a statement by Obasanjo’s media aide, Kehinde Akinyemi, Tambuwal visited the former president to felicitate with him on his 87th birthday.

During the visit, Tambuwal called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to listen to the cries of Nigerians and take decisive actions to improve the country’s situation.
Tambuwal urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and to pray for a better Nigeria. He reiterated his commitment to providing strong representation for his constituents as a Senator.
Speaking about his visit to Obasanjo, Tambuwal praised the former president as an enigmatic and inspirational leader, both nationally and internationally.
He prayed for Obasanjo’s continued good health and service to Nigeria and humanity.
