The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) coordinator in Taraba State, Mr. Ella Aji Williams, has cautioned corps members serving in the state against embarking on night journeys.
Speaking during the closing ceremony for the 2024 Batch ‘A’ stream II, Williams emphasized the need for corps members to prioritize their safety.
He directed them to break their journey by 6 p.m. and advised them to seek accommodation at nearby military or police barracks if they are running late.

Williams also advised against boarding vehicles by the roadside, urging corps members to utilize designated motor parks to ensure their safety.
He reiterated the management’s travel advice, emphasizing the importance of avoiding night travel and encouraging corps members to be proactive in ensuring their safety during their service year.
