Youths in communities along the Wukari-Rafin Kada road in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State have apprehended two suspected criminals allegedly preparing to launch another attack in the area.
The development followed a deadly attack along the road last month, which heightened security concerns among residents and motorists using the route.
According to reports, the youths mobilised after receiving information about the suspected planned attack and succeeded in capturing the two suspects.
The suspects were subsequently handed over to the relevant security authorities for investigation and further action.
