Taylor Swift Break Up With Calvin Harris

Not many people around the world raised eyebrows when it was flashed all over the news that pop star Taylor Swift had ended her relationship with 32-year-old DJ/producer Calvin Harris yesterday, June 1, 2016.

For those keeping any count, Harris was Taylor Swift’s seventh boyfriend in eight years.

It has now become a recurring theme with Taylor Swift. She gets a boyfriend and she is happy. When the relationship hits the rocks Taylor Swift gets into the studio to record another smash album.

We won’t be hardly surprised if Taylor Swift starts releasing hit single after hit single and top it off with another platinum selling LP. It’s kind of her thing, her strategy to keep people interested in her music.

Yes this Taylor Swift’s marketing strategy but it sort of bewildering that a good looking babe like Swift hasn’t been in a long term relationship since she became an entity in first country music and now pop music.

Her relationship with Calvin Harris lasted just over a year. They started dating from March 2015 to June 2016. As a matter of fact this has been her longest relationship.

In 2008 Taylor Swift dated singer Joe Jonas. They started dating in July 2008 and broke up three months after Jonas made a 27-second phone call. Her next relationship was with ‘Twilight’ franchise star Taylor Lautner. The love affair started in August 2009 but ended quickly also in November 29. According to reports Lautner was more serious about the relationship than Swift.

Her next high profile relationship was with the bad boy of pop music John Mayer. Obviously no one saw this as a serious relationship. It crashed after just two months.

From 2010-2012 Taylor Swift dated actor Jake Gyllenhaal and Conor Kennedy, grandson of Robert F. Kennedy. Another short relationship followed and that was with One Direction singer Harry Styles. From December 2012-January 2013 they were an item.

Looking at Taylor Swift’s long list of lovers a questions begs to be asked, “why can’t she keep a man down?” Maybe she is too much of a good girl and these guys just want bad guys.

With so many ex-boyfriends Swift is perhaps the Elizabeth Taylor of relationships in Hollywood. The late Hollywood actress was married eight times in her lifetime. Taylor is on number seven in terms of boyfriends.

For a while many felt that her relationship with Calvin Harris would stand the test of time unfortunately he was unlucky number seven for Swift.
