ETHIOPIA
Ethiopia are preparing in Brazil for the opening Group B clashes against Algeria and Lesotho. The Walyas are expected to engage in some test matches as part of preparation for the two games.
NIGERIA
Nigeria has named 23 players for their two Group A matches against Congo and South Africa. Making returns to the squad are Elderson Echiejile, midfielder Nosa Igiebor, Sone Aluko of Hull City and striker Chinedu Obasi, who all missed the World Cup in Brazil last June.

For the matches against Cameroon on 6 September 2014 in Lubumbashi and Sierra Leone four days later at a yet to-be-determined venue, new coach Jean Florent Ibenge has named a 37-man squad for the two games.
CAF Champions League surprise packets, AS Vita has 12 players from their camp and four from rivals, TP Mazembe.
The Leopards will be without captain Tresor Mputu Mabi and striker Dieumerci Mbokani, who are both injured.

ZAMBIA
Zambia will host Sudan in a friendly on Sunday, 31 August 2014 to prepare for the opening two matches against Mozambique and Cape Verde.
Also, TP Mazembe duo, Given Singuluma and Jonas Sakuwaha are set for returns into the Chipolopolo squad for the first time since 2013. They will join their club-mates Rainford Kalaba and Kabaso Chongo to prepare for the crucial games.
Meanwhile, new coach Honour Janza has invited three players from the U-20 team that beat Malawi in a CAF U-20 qualifier last weekend to the senior team camp. They are Kayawe kapota (Celtic), Alex Mwamba (Power Dynamos) and Patrick ‘Dude’ Ngoma (Red Arrows).
UGANDA
AS Vita attacking sensation, Yunus Setanmu has been named in Uganda’s 25-man squad for their opening two games against Ghana and Guinea.
The Cranes who start training on Monday will play Ghana on 6th September in Kumasi and four days later against Guinea at Mandela National stadium, Namboole.
Also in the squad are three players, who missed the game against Mauritania due to club commitments- Denis Onyango, Geoffrey Massa and Moses Oloya.
However there is no place for Emma Okwi, Joseph Ochaya and Daniel Serunkuma.
Meanwhile, Decolas Kiiza, Head of Finance of the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has confirmed that the team will hold a brief camp in Niamey (Niger) before traveling to Kumasi for the Ghana clash.
