Mr Babajimi Benson, The federal lawmaker representing Ikorodu Constituency 1, has come out to say that Nigeria must turn to technology to end the obstacles that manual voting poses during elections in the country.
Babajimi revealed in reaction to the violence being reported in some parts of the country during the governorship polls.
His words, “With all the challenges that manual voting has posed to us a nation, I will advice INEC to adopt full use of technology.
“It will solve a lot of problems created by manual voting and will also allow people in the Diaspora participate in our elections.”
He also praised INEC for stepping things up and improving from what the country faced in the Presidential elections.
He then hailed the people of Nigeria for also playing their part in the process.
