Former Vice Presidential candidate of PDP, Mr Peter Obi has advised INEC to make sure the will of the people of Rivers State prevail as the commission resumes collation of results in Rivers State.
He shared this in a recent statement he released yesterday, Monday.
INEC recently picked between April 2 and April 5 for the collation of results for March 9 Rivers’ Governorship Election, which was earlier halted due to disruption and violence.
Peter Obi said that the delay already experienced in the state will only be worthwhile if the people’s choice eventually wins.
He told INEC to ensure the collation of results in the state did not tarnish their image in any way.
