The Theatre Commander of the Joint Task Force North West Operation Hadarin Daji, Major General Oluyinka Olalekan Soyele, has called on troops to strictly adhere to information security protocols and avoid any form of communication with the enemy.
Major General Soyele made the remarks during a Christmas lunch organised for the troops in Gusau, Zamfara State.
This directive was contained in a statement issued by the Joint Media Coordinator, Lt. Col. Abubakar Abdullahi, and made available to newsmen on Tuesday.

Commending the troops for their resilience and operational successes in the past year, Soyele highlighted their crucial role in restoring stability and peace to the region.
He acknowledged their dedication despite challenging conditions and urged them to renew their commitment as they approached the new year.
“The successes recorded in the theatre are a testament to your hard work and dedication. As we move into the new year, I encourage you to remain vigilant, adapt to evolving challenges, and apply the lessons learnt to future operations,” Soyele said.
He also emphasized the importance of discretion and vigilance in protecting sensitive information during operations, assuring the troops of continued support and urging them to maintain the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
The Christmas lunch served not only as a celebration of the festive season but also as an opportunity to reinforce camaraderie and unity among the troops.
Major General Soyele expressed his gratitude for the troops’ professionalism and sacrifices, reiterating his confidence in their ability to sustain and enhance the ongoing efforts to ensure peace and security in the region.
