On Monday, an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan ordered the remand of three men, Kehinde Olagbemiro (55), Kunle Oguntoye (45), and Morakinyo Mukaila (57), in a correctional facility over allegations of armed robbery and murder.
The defendants, whose addresses were not disclosed, are charged with conspiracy, armed robbery, and murder.
Magistrate Maruff Mudashiru did not take the pleas of the defendants, citing lack of jurisdiction. He instructed the police to forward the case file to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) for legal advice.

The case was adjourned until September 2 for mention.
Prosecutor Inspector Femi Oluwadare told the court that the offenses occurred between March 25 and June 3, around 2:00 a.m., at Rhuoga Energy Ltd. in Igboora, Oyo State.
Oluwadare detailed that the defendants, along with others still at large, robbed the company of earthen and terminating wires valued at N15 million, while armed with guns, cutlasses, and other dangerous weapons.
He added that the defendants caused the deaths of Lukman Adejumo (56) and Fatai Jimoh, security guards at the company, by tying their hands, legs, and necks with rope.
The offenses contravene Sections 516 and 319 of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
