Glo Premier League side Giwa FC have named FC Sarduana coach Tony Bolus as head coach for the ongoing 2014/15 league season.
    .
Bolus will be assisted by coach Ehis Ediale while the caretaker coach, Aminu Musa, has reverted to his former position as goalkeeper trainer of the Tin City side.
    .
The former FC Abuja coach will lead the Jos-based side in Wednesday’s rescheduled Glo Premier League match day 2 clash against Warri Wolves at the Warri Township Stadium.
    .
Bolus said he is humbled with the great responsibility to lead the side to a successful campaign in the ongoing season.
    .
“I’m quite happy to work with such great club in the ongoing Glo Premier League season.
    .
“The team already have good players that will greatly help us to hit the ground running immediately.
    .
“I’m excited with the responsibility entrusted on my shoulders and I think I’m equal to the task.
    .
“I’ve the mandate to win a continental ticket for the side as well as better their fourth-place finish in the immediate past season.
    .
“It looks like a daunting task but with the cooperation of everybody we’ll be a able to achieve the mark at the end of the season.
    .
“That assignment will be put to an acid test on Wednesday when we confront Warri Wolves in match day 2 tie in Warri.
    .
“I must confess to you that nothing short of outright victory at Warri Wolves will be accepted by us,” said Bolus to supersport.com.
    .
Giwa FC were held to a barren draw by Abia Warriors in match day 1 encounter at the Rwang Pam Stadium, Jos.
