Glo Premier League side Giwa FC have named FC Sarduana coach Tony Bolus as head coach for the ongoing 2014/15 league season.

Bolus will be assisted by coach Ehis Ediale while the caretaker coach, Aminu Musa, has reverted to his former position as goalkeeper trainer of the Tin City side.

The former FC Abuja coach will lead the Jos-based side in Wednesday’s rescheduled Glo Premier League match day 2 clash against Warri Wolves at the Warri Township Stadium.

Bolus said he is humbled with the great responsibility to lead the side to a successful campaign in the ongoing season.

“I’m quite happy to work with such great club in the ongoing Glo Premier League season.

“The team already have good players that will greatly help us to hit the ground running immediately.

“I’m excited with the responsibility entrusted on my shoulders and I think I’m equal to the task.

“I’ve the mandate to win a continental ticket for the side as well as better their fourth-place finish in the immediate past season.

“It looks like a daunting task but with the cooperation of everybody we’ll be a able to achieve the mark at the end of the season.

“That assignment will be put to an acid test on Wednesday when we confront Warri Wolves in match day 2 tie in Warri.

“I must confess to you that nothing short of outright victory at Warri Wolves will be accepted by us,” said Bolus to supersport.com.
