Is it intriguing and negatively amazing how bad news finds its way to the larger audience and general acceptance of a society full of learned, literate and sagaciously sound intellectual individuals like us these days?

We have replaced facts with fictions, reality with bull shit and truth with sycophancy.

We all will buy lies twice the price of truth and we won’t feel perturbed to an inch.

A society where lying and blackmailing is an art one needs to be good at in other to be able to hold and posses any fringe survival pack you possibly might come across.

Reality and truth are perceived to be great sins that no man wants to commit, not even the so called men of God and one just keep asking what does the messages in the holy books reminding us of the glad tidings to be received in the hereafter really stands for?

These above are just seemingly a life whose beginning we all won’t be proud of its ending.

The story of Toyin Saraki that made wave some weeks ago featuring on headlines of many news agency and different blogs didn’t come to me as a surprise rather it came to me as a disappointment and reason isn’t farfetched than the fact that of all good activities and good news about Toyin Saraki seems to be so facet, Her Excellency, Toyin Saraki is one of Africa’s leading ambassador and agent of Girl Child Education, prevention of birth mortality, better life for midwives, Girl child welfare and a host of others. Her foundation, the Wellbeing Foundation is a leading brand when it comes to taking care of the woman gender in Africa, her foundation sees to taking care of widows and orphans and also makes sure that feeding and clothing are adequately taken care of, embers of this foundation who are on the reach out list spans into thousands of hundreds. Another interesting fact about her is her investment into the health sector when she designed the Kwara health scheme which has almost 4,000 beneficiaries;, his program has been adopted by many states in Nigeria as of today.
So my question is how on earth could a negative and malicious news about her trend like a fire ball?

Could my earliest assertions about buying lies at the expense of truth be the actual reality of what is obtainable in our environment?

Then we can conclude that a self sponsored bad news could be an easy way for publicity boost?

Then indeed we are in a reversing word.

How nice will it be to have news like these trending on @SaharaReporters rather than having to hear about unsubstantial allegations of baseless stands lacking fact and genuine sources?

Toyin Saraki is a woman of impeccable character whose work has positively touched a lot of lives around the globe and I am sure that no amount of smear campaign and propaganda against her person will stop her from carrying on with her agenda of saving lives here in Africa and beyond.

I hereby send out a message of hope to all other good people out there never to relent in their good work no matter the sponsored tribulations that comes their way, good will always prevail over evil any day any time.

Let us all focus on the positives in life than the negatives if we all are really serious about changing Nigeria for the better.
