The Social Democratic Party in Oyo State has rubbished the TraderMoni scheme of the ruling All Progressives Congress, calling it as a deceit to trick voters into another four years of suffering.
The SDP governorship candidate in the state, Chief Bolaji Ayorinde (SAN), at the commencement of his campaign in Igangan, said N10, 000 was chicken change to alleviate the suffering of average traders in the country.
Ayorinde noted that the SDP would set up effective structures that would end our traders’ problems.
He also promised to rebuild the education sector by increasing its budget to 20 per cent.
“We will have three commissioners for education. One for primary school education, another for secondary school education and the third for tertiary education,” he promised.
He, however, pleaded with the people of the state to show solidarity with the SDP and stand against vote selling and buying.
