High Chief Jerry Patrick Onuokaibe, the traditional ruler-elect of Mburubu community in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State, has called on investors to take advantage of the business opportunities available under the administration of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.
Onuokaibe made this appeal during the first edition of the Enugu Youths Investment Summit organized by the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Enugu State chapter.
The summit, themed “Tomorrow is here, the Place of Enugu Youths,” was chaired by Onuokaibe and aimed at promoting youth entrepreneurship and innovation.

During his address, Onuokaibe highlighted the conducive investment climate in Enugu State, thanks to Governor Mbah’s efforts in creating a safe and business-friendly environment.
He encouraged Enugu youths to embrace self-discipline and focus on developing their talents and skills.
Onuokaibe announced that he, along with other business veterans from Enugu State, is collaborating with NYCN to support young entrepreneurs with promising business ideas.
He encouraged interested youths to submit their proposals to NYCN for evaluation and possible training.
In his remarks, the Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Hon Lloyd Ekweremmadu, reiterated the state government’s commitment to partnering with youths on training and investment opportunities.
He disclosed that the state government is set to secure a N4.4 billion investment to empower youths and promote industrialization.
Guest speaker Chukwu Ephraim Okenwa emphasized the importance of human capital development and the ease of doing business in driving economic growth.
He commended Governor Mbah’s administration for its innovative policies aimed at transforming Enugu State.
During the panel session, Hon Amuka Williams, representing Igbo-Etiti West state constituency in the Enugu State House of Assembly, pledged the assembly’s support for Governor Mbah’s economic development goals.
He expressed optimism that Enugu State would soon become a thriving business hub under Governor Mbah’s leadership.
