Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate has said that transfer speculations have left him in a tight spot. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, some of the rumours he has been reading keep putting him in a tight spot with Liverpool fans, and the fact that they are false even makes things worse.
Konate added that his agents are still negotiating with LFC, and he’ll most likely make an announcement on his future very soon.
His words, “It’s difficult, we can’t say everything because a lot of things are already being said in the media.
Some of the things that I read, I’m like… oh la la. That puts me in a tight spot with Liverpool fans, and they don’t even know all the ins and outs.
My agents continue to discuss with Liverpool. I hope my decision will be made very soon so I can announce it.”

The capacity of the stadium at the time was 20,000, although only 100 spectators attended Liverpool’s first match at Anfield.
