A group known as the Alaigbo Development Forum (ADF) has dragged President Buhari to court over the recent military exercise in the South-East.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai was not excluded in the suit.
ADF is waiting on the Federal High Court sitting in Enugu state to order the military out of the South-East.
The group’s counsel, Max Ozoaka wants “A declaration that the action of the Defendants, especially the 1st Defendant (Buhari), in calling out, operationally engaging or deploying the armed forces of the Federation to the south eastern part of the country is illegal, unconstitutional, null and void and of no effect whatsoever.”
