Aisha Yesufu, a popular activist, is also of the opinion that the Buhari-led Federal Government has no right to arrest her for using the banned social media platform.

Fani-Kayode tweeted, “I HAVE tweeted. I CHALLENGE you to do your WORSE!

“You CANNOT threaten, intimidate, overwhelm, silence or defeat a lion.

“We ROAR and CHARGE with rage, strength, fire and power into the HOTTEST part of the battle with songs of praise on our lips!

“No fear! No retreat! No surrender!” Fani-Kayode tweeted.

Fayose said, “Malami, I just tweeted. No shaking!”

Ezekwesili had earlier tweeted, “Many fellow Nigerians presently on @Twitter are happy to be prosecuted by @NigeriaGov for exercising your constitutionally guaranteed right to speech and association?

“Please join me and joyfully 🙋🏾‍♀️🙋🏾‍♂️your hands so @MalamiSan can find us quickly and take to court. #KeepitOn.”

Aisha, in response to Ezekwesili wrote, “I’m already putting together protest kits for those in prison! We start the revolution from the prisons.

“The rest of the world should know it is in their interest to ensure dictatorship is not allowed in Nigeria. Imagine if there is a mass exodus from Nigeria. See the way we have taken over the trend list in many countries #KeepitOn

“Nigeria is in the News all over the world for the wrong reasons. This government is such a disgrace!”

The Federal Government had on Friday announced the suspension of microblogging and social networking service, Twitter, in the country.

Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed made the announcement during a press conference.

He cited the persistent use of the platform for activities capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence.

Also, the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN) declared that any Nigerian still making use of the banned platform would be arrested and prosecuted by the government.
