Following a courtesy call by the Board of Management & Management of the University College Hospital Ibadan to the Olokuku of Okuku Land, Oba Samuel Abioye, the hospital has commenced the rehabilitation of the health centre in Okuku land, Osun State.
The chairman Board of Management and management of the University College Hospital Ibadan, Alhaji Ibrahim Bako has therefore led the board to inspect the comprehensive health centre which is under reconstruction to see what has been done so far.
The Chief Medical Director of UCH Ibadan, Professor Jesse Otegbayo, stated that the management of the hospital is bent on extending healthcare services to rural communities and enhancing research and training.
In his words he stated that “I fervently believe that by the first quarter of next year, we will start running the centre’s Outpatient Department.”
