As Christians all over the world celebrate the feast of Passover, the Delta State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan has called for positive attitudinal change among Nigerians.
According to the Governor, the Feast of Passover is very significant to every Christian and as such, all evil thoughts, deeds and actions that are retrogressive to the nation’s growth and development should be abandoned.
The Governor who was assisted by the Commissioner of Police Mr. Ikechukwu Aduba in charge of the state command decorated his Aide de Camp (ADC), Richmond Gbewun with the rank of Superintendent of Police.
Governor Uduaghan observed that the future of Nigeria was very bright if people could jettison their evil thoughts and deeds and be more committed to the growth of the country.
The Governor while congratulating Mr Gbewun disclosed that Mr. Gbewun was his second ADC to be promoted during his tenure as Governor of the State on his promotion prayed for him and urged him not to relent in rendering quality service to Nigeria.
In his response, Mr Gbewun thanked the Governor and the Commissioner of Police for giving him the opportunity to effectively carry out his functions and assured that with God, he will continue to carry out his official assignments without fear or favour.
