Manchester United coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ready for a busy summer at his new club as he hopes to stamp his authority on the squad in general.
Manchester United bought no one in January but Ole is expected to bring in four of five energetic, young and fresh players after the season.
Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, England prospect, Jadon Sancho and Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka are among the names on their radar.
However, players are expected to leave too to create space for the new arrivals, with the futures of Juan Mata and Ander Herrera still up in the air as their contracts run down.
Current legend, Gary Neville has named the four players he thinks won’t be missed if they move on at the end of the season.
His words, “There’s a lot of players Ole has to make a decision on. Is it a big loss if Darmian leaves? I don’t think it’s the end of the world.
“Is it a big loss if Antonio Valencia leaves? He’s had problems with injuries, I think United need a new right back. Ashley Young, he’s fine to stay there for another 12 months.
“I think Mata and Herrera are interesting ones in terms of how the club approach that.
“I think they will be players that are wanted by other clubs. For me it wouldn’t be the end of the world if they both left.”
