Real Madrid has confirmed that Lucas Vazquez suffered a cruciate ligament injury during the Clasico with Barcelona. This was recently revealed via a club statement, and fans have been reacting.
According to Madrid, the Spaniard has been diagnosed with a sprain to the posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, and he’ll be out for a while.
The club added that Lucas’ recovery will continue to be assessed in the coming weeks.
It read, “Following tests carried out today on Lucas Vázquez by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a sprain to the posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
“His recovery will continue to be assessed.”
