The Nigerian military has recorded more successes in the war against insurgency, following its routing of Boko Haram insurgents from Bara, Gulani Local Government Area of Yobe State.
In a series of tweets via its official handle @DefenceInfoNG, the Defence Headquarters said Bara was reclaimed after two days of “intense operations”.
It said terrorists were also flushed out from Gulak, the headquarters of Madagali Local Government Area, Adamawa State on Friday.
Meanwhile, many assorted arms, ammunitions and vehicles were recovered or destroyed just as cordon and search operations are ongoing in the recaptured towns.
