  • People prefer to watch long-form content on mobile devices
    • 65 percent of people prefer to watch movies or television episodes over brief music videos or movie clips
    • 67 percent of men versus 57 percent of women prefer watching long-form content on their mobile phones
  • Mobile phones have become a global status symbol
    • 56 percent of global respondents from a recent survey named their phone as the first thing that people notice about them, even before clothing, cars or watches
    • 82 percent of respondents 18-years old and younger named their phone as the first thing that people notice about them, even before clothing, cars or watches
  • People consult their mobile devices to research products before making a purchase
    • 62 percent of the global survey respondents said they look up the information on their phones right away when considering an important purchase
    • Only 10 percent of respondents conduct research on computers
