We have identified the sponsors of IPOB and others and will deal with them – President buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has again spoken loudly that the Federal Government remains ready to met out punishments against secessionist agitators and their sponsors who threaten national security and life of the citizens.

It was also disclosed that the Federal Government has already fished out high-profile financiers of these agitators, of which a serving member of the National Assembly is a part of.

President Buhari vowed that his administration will arrest and prosecute those who he said incite violence with their words and action and insisted that the unity of the country is non-negotiable.

President Buhari in his words said, “The recent arrests of Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Adeyemo and the ongoing investigations being conducted have revealed certain high profile financiers behind these individuals.  We are vigorously pursuing these financiers, including one identified as a serving member of the National Assembly.

“This is a clear example of how people abandon their national leadership positions for their selfish gains. Instead of preaching unity, they are funding and misleading our youth to conduct criminal acts that sometimes lead to unfortunate and unnecessary loss of lives and property.
